£39,680 – £46,944 assuming good attendance and up to 3 sleep‑ins per month.

Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s day‑to‑day life. It is a role where you will be there for the highest highs and lowest lows, helping our young people to regain their childhood and creating pathways to become well‑rounded adults. There will be challenges, but there will also be the smallest moments that feel like a huge small victory.

Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for them. Team leaders are fulfilled by the idea of affecting even the smallest positive changes, so we celebrate the little things and appreciate the everyday wins.

Responsibilities

You will take care of our young people day‑to‑day, ensuring that things run smoothly and lasting memories are created. As a team leader you will also support the staff team, maintain the home’s high standards, and be ready to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers when required. We are looking for someone who can relate to and build relationships with our young people, who is compassionate, emotionally resilient and supportive, and who can inspire and lead colleagues.

What We Do for You
  • Salary: Base salary of £35,400 – £42,664.
  • Bonuses: Up to 3 sleep‑ins per month at £80 per sleep (approx. £2,880 per year) plus up to £1,400 of attendance allowance per year.
  • Training: Four‑week induction on our Care Academy.
  • Holiday: Seven weeks’ holiday.
  • Progression: Most of our team leaders and managers are promoted from within our group, and you could join our ‘Aspire’ future managers programme.
  • Flexible benefits package: Adjust your holiday allowance, pension and life insurance as you wish.
  • Wellbeing: A host of wellbeing tools and advice, including employee assistance.
  • Medical cover: Reimbursement for optician or dentist appointments and high‑street discounts.
  • Meals provided while you are at work.
  • Beautiful working environments with the very best facilities.
  • Recommend‑a‑friend scheme awarding £1,000 each time.

  • Resilience to deal with challenging situations.
  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
  • Level 3 Children’s Residential Care qualification (minimum).
