Job Title: Team Leader – Careers Advice / Employability

Location: Lead a team across East Midlands and Staffordshire (base location at nearest site)

Salary: £26,400 – £34,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and confident Team Leader, to lead a dispersed team of Careers Advisors, across Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

The Role:
  • Lead and motivate a team of Careers Advisors, across multiple sites.
  • Support staff to deliver high-quality career guidance to a vulnerable / disadvantaged client group, helping them progress into employment, education or training.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and performance targets.
  • Monitor and review staff caseloads.
  • Carry out audits, observations, and additional quality monitoring activities.
  • Promote innovation and creativity to fulfil the requirements of the contract, and the needs of each site.
Essential Criteria
  • Hold a minimum Level 4 in Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG), with the opportunity to complete the Level 6 CIAG (funded by the employer).
  • Have experience in leading a team, with in the employability sector.
  • Must have experience working with vulnerable / disadvantaged client groups.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Full clean driving licence and use of own vehicle (must be flexible with travel across the above geographical area).
