Working Hours: On a 4 weekly rota, 12hr day shifts (07:45-20:15) includes alternative weekends

Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Deerswood Lodge in Crawley. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Deerswood Lodge has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure family and friends feel welcomed and that healthcare professionals are kept well informed.
  • Communicate resident needs and progress to the line manager and keep them up to speed.
  • Follow guidelines and policies easily, act as a team player.
  • Prepare and write up care plans.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organized, and great with people.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Completed or working toward a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
