Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a part-time Cafe Supervisor to help ensure smooth operations across a major high-street venue. The role covers 30 hours per week with shift patterns described as variable.

You will manage a frontline team, handle rotas, stock orders and maintain high standards of service. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising frontline teams, strong customer service skills, and the ability to perform under pressure while staying positive.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Flexible, able to work variable shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.
