Job summary

Asda in Newquay is recruiting a Team Leader to manage day-to-day operations of the department on afternoon shifts. You will lead by example, support colleagues, ensure smooth running, and deliver excellent customer service. The role requires adaptability to weekends and evenings and strong team leadership.

You will help manage stock, support new starters, and work closely with your manager to maintain high standards and motivate your team during 36 hours per week at a £14.10 per hour rate.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment.

As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of your department. You'll lead by example - supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it's helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you'll be a go-to person on the shop floor. You'll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused.
