The Frances Taylor Foundation has a long history of providing personalised, person-centred care across Liverpool, Merseyside, Brighton & Hove, and Greater London. We pride ourselves on innovative services and a commitment to improving the lives of those we support.
At Fernley, we support people with a wide range of learning disabilities, including individuals with complex care needs. As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care and support across our service.
You’ll lead by example, guiding and inspiring a dedicated team of Activity Support Workers to deliver meaningful, stimulating activities that promote each person’s physical, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. You’ll take the lead in one key area—such as community connections, art and sensory activities, physical and mental wellbeing, or daily living and social skills—while working closely with other Team Leaders to create a well‑rounded, engaging programme for everyone who uses the service.
You’ll plan and oversee activities, support staff development, and ensure care and support plans are person-centred, up to date, and responsive to individual needs. You’ll foster independence, encourage community participation, and champion inclusion and choice in everything you do.
You’ll collaborate with families, carers, and professionals to make sure every person receives the best possible support. When required, you’ll take charge of the service in the absence of the Service Manager, helping maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations.
