Job summary

Poundland is looking for a Team Leader to support the Store and Assistant Manager in delivering an excellent shopping experience for customers. You will help manage deliveries, merchandising, and daily operations, while maintaining high standards on the shop floor and in the warehouse.

You will motivate the team, drive store performance, and help the store run smoothly day to day. Retail experience is required, with leadership experience a bonus, and a proactive, energetic approach is essential.

• Retail experience is needed.
• Some leadership experience would be a bonus but not essential.
• Energy, organisation and a passion for people and customer service are essential.

About The Role

Join us here at Poundland as a Team Leader and you’ll play a key role in supporting the Store and Assistant Manager to lead the team and deliver a fantastic shopping experience for our customers every day.

You’ll help create a friendly, welcoming store where customers receive great service and colleagues feel supported on the shop floor to do their best work. From managing deliveries and merchandising, to supporting daily operations you’ll keep standards high on the shop floor and in the warehouse, you’ll be right at the heart of the action.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll motivate the team, support store performance, and help ensure everything runs efficiently day to day.

A positive, proactive approach and strong teamwork skills are essential. You’ll be confident leading by example, supporting your colleagues to develop, and keeping the team focused on delivering great results. Retail experience is needed and some leadership experience would be a bonus but not essential, but most importantly we’re looking for someone with energy, organisation, and a passion for people and customer service.
