Job summary

A leading infrastructure company in the UK is seeking a Team Leader to support their telecommunications team. The role involves maintaining and repairing mobile phone mast infrastructures, conducting inspections, and liaising with various stakeholders. Candidates should have team leadership experience, be comfortable working at heights, possess a Full Drivers Licence, and be willing to travel. This is a mobile role requiring extensive travel across Maidstone and surrounding areas.

Job description

Location: Maidstone and surrounding areas - this is a mobile role with extensive travel involved

Hours: 45 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As a Team Leader you'll be working within the IMT/Ericsson team, supporting them in ensuring the telecommunication infrastructure is well maintained and repaired as necessary.

Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring the detailed test, inspection and condition surveys of mobile phone mast installations.
  • Carry out inspections of towers, poles and fall arrest systems as well as testing anchor points, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
  • Producing reports and undertaking minor remedial tasks, along with ensuring that all work is undertaken in a safe and proper manner.
  • Liaising with a number of stakeholders, including but not limited to site providers, client staff and helpdesk administration.
  • Attending internal and external review meetings, ensure PUWER, vehicle, calibration and training records are maintained, and to assist in the mentoring and development of site operatives.
