Acorn Homes are looking for the right Team Leader to join our home in Canterbury. The ideal Team Leader will have experience working in a children's home and will be looking for the next step in their career. The ability to develop staff to their full potential, strong communication skills, good decision making, and the ability to work with initiative are important.
Acorn Homes is offering its Team Leaders £33,280 per annum (£14.00 per hour, including 2 sleep shifts per week, £40 per sleep).
A Team Leader is responsible for supervising a team of support staff to ensure that young people receive a complete person-centred care service. As an excellent role model, they will lead, delegate, supervise and assess the practice of Support Workers. There is an expectation to provide direct high-quality care and support to young people.
You will be joining a family-owned company whose owner is a patron of the NSPCC. Acorn has a reputation with local authorities for delivering positive outcomes for young people. Acorn currently operates ten registered homes, all rated Good or Outstanding, and you would be part of the team with full support from a Deputy and Manager, head office and senior management team.
