A leading mental health organization in England is seeking a Team Leader to guide a vibrant team in delivering mental health support to young people. This role involves providing leadership, mentoring, and overseeing interventions in schools across the East Midlands. Ideal candidates should have a relevant qualification, experience in CBT, and a strong understanding of mental health legislation. In return, we offer comprehensive benefits and the chance to make a significant impact in children's lives.
Are you ready to lead a vibrant, values‑driven team who are transforming young people’s access to mental health support? This is your chance to step into a leadership role that blends purpose, influence and people‑first practice.
As our Team Leader, you’ll provide day‑to‑day leadership to a talented team within our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in schools across the area. You’ll support practitioners to deliver safe, effective interventions while also shaping how we collaborate with schools and partners to meet local needs.
This is a role for someone who thrives on variety and challenge. You’ll guide clinical decision‑making, oversee risk management and help embed inclusive, evidence‑based practice in everything we do. You won’t just manage; you’ll mentor, develop and champion the people around you.
You’ll be joining a service that listens, adapts and stays focused on what really matters—supporting children and young people to feel safe, supported and empowered.
If you want to grow your leadership career, inspire a passionate team and help shape the future of children and young people’s mental health, this is the role to do it.
You’re a confident, compassionate leader who brings energy, insight and integrity to everything you do. You care about getting things right for children and young people, and you know how to support others to deliver safe, effective and meaningful mental health support.
You’ll bring:
You might also bring BABCP accreditation, experience supporting inclusive practice or involvement in service improvement work. But most of all, you bring the values, resilience and drive to lead with purpose and empathy.
If you’re ready to lead a team who care deeply and deliver constantly, we’d love to meet you.
