Job summary

Greene King is looking for a Team Leader to join a community pub in Chandler's Ford. You will lead by example, ensuring shifts run smoothly and customers are well cared for.

You will support the management team, supervise staff during busy periods, uphold safety and legal standards, and handle cash responsibilities. Weekend shifts and late finishes are a natural part of this role, with a strong focus on hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
• Have cash handling experience (cash up, safe count, banking etc.).
• Be responsible (on a rota basis) for closing down and locking up the pub.

• Candidates must live within walking distance to the pub, or have their own transport, as weekend shifts finish after midnight.
