Job summary

Greene King’s Chef & Brewer venues are seeking a proactive Team Leader to keep shifts running smoothly and deliver memorable service. You’ll support the management team, guide staff, and ensure high standards of hygiene, safety and hospitality.

On a busy shift, you’ll organise the team, resolve issues quickly, and lead by example to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest while maintaining quality and efficiency across bar and floor operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or pub environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team during busy periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
