Job summary

Asda Basildon is seeking a Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day running of the department, guiding colleagues and ensuring customers receive excellent service. You’ll help manage stock, support new starters and resolve issues on the shop floor, while collaborating with your manager to maintain high standards.

The role is part-time (20 hours per week) with a days shift pattern. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organised and a true team player who can lead by example.

• Experience in retail or customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and support others.
• Good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

As aTeam Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of your department. You’ll lead by example - supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it’s helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you’ll be a go-to person on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused.
