The role of the Team Leader is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst making sure you always provide the highest level of care and lead by example. You will also liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern. You must have experience in the care sector and have the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. Not only will you make a huge difference to people's lives, but you'll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensures the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.
Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Team Leader.

Twynham provides support for seven residents with mild learning disabilities, mental health conditions and associated complex needs. All the people we support are encouraged to attend local colleges and work placements. We support the use of public transport as much as possible, but the home also has its own vehicle for leisure, recreational and educational activities in the community. Twynham is situated less than one mile from New Milton town centre, and around ten miles from both Christchurch and Bournemouth.
