MVOW Offshore Wind UK > SBU NCE Service > NCE Supply Chain Warehouse Operations Offshore

The Vestas Offshore Supply Chain Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations on board of the Service Operations Vessels and Jack-Up Vessels. We are supporting the Vestas Offshore Special Projects and Service Departments which installs, services and maintains the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of service stockkeepers managing spare parts, tools, and consumables for offshore operations
  • Plan and allocate daily workloads, monitor performance, and ensure safe and efficient task execution
  • Conduct regular team briefings, toolbox talks, and enforce strict compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions in SAP to support material traceability and availability
  • Coordinate with the offshore department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials for maintenance and service activities
  • Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., GR on time, YMM not delivered/cleaned), investigate incidents or NCRs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support audits, inspections, maintenance campaigns, and unplanned service events while promoting a strong safety culture within the team
Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship and/or degree in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field
  • Proven warehouse experience, preferably within the Wind Industry
  • Valid full driving license with strong awareness of site and warehouse safety
  • Experience in customs clearance and declaration processes (beneficial)
  • Proficient in SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, and ERP systems such as SAP or AX
  • Strong communication skills in English with excellent planning and time management abilities
  • Committed to adherence and compliance with local laws, regulations, and company standards
Competencies

  • Familiarity with SAP (or other ERP system)
  • Understanding of maritime shipping, lifting operations, and hazardous goods handling
