This is for an anticipated 5‑year, full‑time Team Leader position working on an economic‑growth and recovery programme to foster a business‑enabling environment, support competitive industries and firms,boost job creation,increase exports. Positions are contingent upon contract awardand client approval.

Person Specification

Senior leadership positions require substantial experience leading and/or implementing complex technical assistance programs in related fields,with a proven track record of programmatic accomplishment,professionalachievement,managementcompetence,andinterpersonal skills.

• Academic degree –or equivalent experience –in business, economics,orother relevant field (master’s orPhD desirable).
• At least 10 years of successfully managing complex private sector development oreconomic‑growth development projects,including significant experience workinginUkraineinparticular.
• Experience working with anddeepnetworksacrossagribusinessincludingfoodprocessingindustries,sustainableconstruction,woodprocessing,manufacturingandIT.
• Successful workingexperienceinatleastone,ideuallytwooffollowingtechnicalareas:(i)business‑enablingenvironmentandeconomiccompetitivenesspolicy‑reform(withexperienceofmanaginganddeliveringtechnicalassistance&tostargovernmentstakeholders);(ii)localeconomicgrowthand/orrecovery;(iii)SMECompetitivenesssupport.
• ExperiencecoordinatingcomplexrelationshipsandcollaborativepartnershipswithkeyUkrainiangovernmentstakeholders,ideallyadvisoringoroperatingwithingovernmentdirectly.
• Abilitytomanagemultimilliongrantportfolioasprimarymodalityfordeliveryofsupportrequired.
• Abilitytomanagehighlyskilled,interdisciplinaryteam;maintainproductiverelationshipswithbroaderstakeholders;implementrobustmonitoring, evaluationandlearning systems.
• BasedinUkraineorabilityandwillingtodeployineUkraineforextendedperiodoftimes.
