A local authority in Huddersfield is seeking a Team Coordinator for Moorlands Grange, a recovery hub. The role includes managing Support Workers, ensuring quality care, and maintaining standards. Moorlands Grange is a modern, 40 bed recovery hub for people who require short stay care after leaving hospital. In partnership with Locala Health Care we support the residents of Kirklees gain independence and keep their dignity. Moorlands Grange is made up of 4 suites where residents stay (Poppy, Heather, Rose and Sunflower) and it has many communal areas for residents to enjoy such as lounge and dining areas, and a wonderful garden. Our supportive staff team ensure the care we provide makes a real difference.

As a Team Coordinator, you will be part of a large team ensuring the provision of quality care to residents. You will be reporting to and supported by a Deputy Manager, but you will have first line management responsibility for a team of Support Workers.
By managing the Support Workers and Domestic staff, you will act as a role model ensuring that duties are carried out effectively in line with service objectives, policies, procedures, and standards.
Together with experience of working in a relevant care setting and NVQ 3 in care or willingness to work towards the level 3 diploma in Health & Social care training or other relevant leadership qualification, you will have the ability to challenge practice that does not meet the requirements/standards and the literacy skills to enable you to write reports, maintain residents’ records, and administer and record medication.
As one of our Team Coordinators you will work a rota between 7am and 21.45, including weekends and Public Holidays for which 7% flexibility payment will be made.
