Overview

Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the multi-disciplinary Bexley Home Treatment Team, including the team manager and clinicians.

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and handle enquiries, ensuring accurate and prompt message delivery.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes, and manage client enquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support while prioritising a busy workload.
  • Distribute and disseminate post as necessary.
  • Use Hybrid Mail to ensure timely correspondence to GPs and service users.
  • Order office supplies as required.
  • Assist clinicians with troubleshooting computer issues.
  • Record messages accurately and pass them to the relevant clinician.
  • Welcome visitors professionally and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Book interpreter services as needed.
  • Undertake any additional duties required for the smooth running of the service.
Qualifications
  • Experience using the Rio system is an advantage (full training will be provided).
  • Proficiency in IT packages including Word, Excel, internet, email and internal databases.
  • Strong organisational and prioritising skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work within a busy environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
