A regional health service provider in Peterlee is looking for a Team Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term position. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, along with experience in customer service. You will support the East Durham Getting Help Service and be the first point of contact for service users. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field and experience in an administrative environment.
We are looking to recruit a Team Administrator for a period of 12 months full-time (37.5 hours) to provide an efficient support service to our East Durham Getting Help Service. Applicants should be self‑motivated, organised and have a flexible approach to work. The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to perform repetitive tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail, have the capacity to prioritise their workload and accommodate urgent requests from senior staff whilst dealing sensitively with issues and maintaining confidential information. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, taking action where necessary and ensuring messages are communicated accurately and in an appropriate and timely manner coupled with proven secretarial skills and previous experience is essential.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills, and have an understanding of administrative/clerical procedures and experience of working in a customer service environment. Applicants would be the first point of contact for service users, family and carers, responding to a range of enquiries or concerns.
