Job summary

Teaching Vacancies at East Worlington Primary School is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil with additional needs. The role includes a Mealtime Assistant duty, combining mornings and early afternoons.

You will be patient, committed and an excellent team player, capable of positive behaviour management and clear communication with staff, pupils and families. The position is temporary with safeguarding obligations and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with pupils with different abilities.
• Good standard of English and Mathematics.
• Ability to support colleagues and use positive behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of a pupil in the Reception Class.
• Supervise and support during lunch break as Mealtime Assistant.
• Support inclusion and work as part of a team.
• Follow safeguarding and school policies.
