A local primary academy is looking to hire a part-time Teaching/Care Assistant to support pupils with additional needs starting September 2024. Responsibilities include providing personal and medical support and maintaining records. The school offers development opportunities and a supportive environment for both staff and students.
Mersey Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching/Care Assistant to join our academy in September 2024 on a part time, temporary basis.
As a Teaching / Care Assistant, you will provide one to one personal support for pupils with additional needs. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.
Here at Mersey Primary Academy we are on a journey of rapid improvement and were graded as a good school by Ofsted in June 2019. With 200 pupils aged between 3 and 11 housed in our academy, we serve the east of Hull, around the Holderness Road area. We are a small academy, and we pride ourselves on knowing our students well and doing our best to ensure everyone fulfils their potential.
