Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley is recruiting a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to support pupils aged 5–16 with autism in a caring school community.

Roles start in September, term-time only, with hours 8:30–16:30, Monday to Friday. A daily rate of £95-£105 applies; 3–6 months relevant experience, DBS update service, GCSEs in English and Maths at level 4/C, and a driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Personal care for pupils aged 5–16.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (update service).
• 3–6 months minimum of experience in similar roles.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or better.
• A driving licence and access to a car (remote campus).
• Understanding of autism and autistic spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to pupils aged 5–16.
• Assist with learning activities and day-to-day care tasks.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment in classroom and campus areas.
