Masterclass Education works closely with schools to support both their temporary and long-term staffing needs.

Our Specialist Education Team is currently seeking dedicated, reliable, and willing candidates to fill various roles supporting students to achieve their goals.

As a teaching assistant, your responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting students in accessing their individualised curriculum and education pathway.
  2. Building strong, trusting relationships with students.
  3. Supporting students with their schoolwork and being someone they can talk to if needed.
  4. Supporting the development of positive behaviour management.
  5. Working one-on-one to assist the class teacher in specific lessons.
  6. Ensuring a safe and secure environment where pupils feel relaxed and happy.
  7. Establishing positive relationships with children and staff.
  8. Committing to inclusive practice, ensuring every child has the opportunity to excel.
  9. Providing personal care if required.

Direct experience working within schools is preferred but not required; candidates with transferable skills will also be considered.

Masterclass Education provides CPD-recognised online training covering topics such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more to all our candidates.

The ideal candidate should be available to start as soon as possible.
