Job summary

Mill Hill Primary School in Northallerton is seeking a General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming team supporting learning across the primary age range. The role is based at our Northallerton site and involves collaboration with staff to provide high-quality support for pupils.

You will work 32.5 hours per week during term time (39 weeks), including 8:30am-3:30pm, and assist in classrooms and the Thrive room, including 1:1 SEN support.

Responsibilities

• Support learning both within classrooms and in the Thrive room.
• Work 1:1 with pupils with SEN under the direction of the SENCO, class teachers and other staff.
• Conduct small group intervention work and general classroom support activities.
• Collaborate with the supportive team, receiving training and support as you get to know the school and pupils.
