Job summary

A dedicated educational organization is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs. In this fulfilling role, you will provide one-to-one and small group support, assisting teachers to ensure that every pupil reaches their full potential. Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant!

A dedicated and vibrant school, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.

We cater for pupils aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of educational needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties (including profound and multiple needs), and Autism.

The Role and Start Date

As an SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils' individual learning and personal development. You will work closely with teachers and a range of professionals (such as therapists and specialists) to ensure every child is supported to meet their full potential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.

  • Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of a differentiated and engaging curriculum.

  • Helping to create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Supporting pupils with personal care and mobility (where required).

  • Contributing to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.

We are looking for this role to commence immediately following the Easter half-term break.

Pay and Hours
  • Pay: £95 - £105 per day (dependent on experience).

  • Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
