Teaching Assistant Opportunity – Rural School near Carlisle (with Afterschool Club Hours)

Location: South Carlisle, Cumbria

Contract Type: Temporary Supply

Hours:

  • TA Support: Weekdays during school hours
  • Afterschool Club: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay: £12.85 – £14.50 per hour (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay, subject to age and experience)

About the Role
  • Provide small group and 1:1 support during the school day
  • Assist the class teacher with general classroom duties and learning activities
  • Support the Afterschool Lead on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, helping to deliver engaging and safe afterschool sessions
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and contribute to a nurturing school environment
