A leading educational organization in Rotherham is seeking Teaching Assistants for their new school set to open in January 2026. You will support teachers, assist children with diverse needs, and work within a trauma-informed model. We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our brand-new school in Sheffield. You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
As a TA, your day will be varied and interesting. You will support our teachers by assisting in the classrooms and the community for children who cannot attend school. You will follow a flexible structure and support our children and young people to unlock their passion for learning.
You will work within a trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice.
River Valley School is a brand-new school opening in January 2026, looking after children and young people aged 6-18 years, offering a therapeutic, bespoke learning package, seeking the best outcomes for our young people.
Our school is situated adjacent to and in collaboration with the brand-new Skills Street Project.
Term Time: This aligns with the Sheffield local authority.
Our full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week. The role is full-time, over five days per week.
