Job summary

Stocklake Park School in Aylesbury is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant (Range 2) to support pupils with SEN, ensuring their safety, inclusion and engagement in learning activities.

You will work 32.5 hours per week during term time, with a timetable including 9:00am to 3:30pm shifts and a late finish on Wednesdays. You will assist with individualised programmes, provide feedback on progress, and help with school trips and activities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN to ensure their safety, inclusion, and engagement in learning activities.
• Assist with individualised programmes, including Therapy and Personal Care Plans, and carry out clinical procedures following training and competency sign-off.
• Build positive, constructive relationships with pupils, promoting independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and achievement under teacher guidance.
• Contribute to school life, including trips, activities, and supervision outside lesson times.
