SEN Teaching Assistant Part-Time (mornings only) Primary School

Start Date: November 2025
Location: Haringey, North London

An inclusive and nurturing primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis on an ongoing contract basis.

The Role

In this role, you will be supporting a Year 3 child for five mornings per week.
The child has autism and is new to the school, so you will work closely with the SEND team to assess his needs and provide appropriate support. He is currently working at a Year 2–3 level and you will be required to provide support within class and also on a one-to-one basis and specialist sessions as required.

Responsibilities
  • Is patient, proactive, and confident in supporting children with complex needs
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively with staff and students
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written English
  • Holds relevant qualifications or SEND-specific training (desirable but not essential)

This position is offered on a part-time agency contract for five mornings per week.
