Teaching Assistants Wanted in Maghull!

We are actively seeking passionate, dedicated, and resilient individuals to join committed teams as Teaching Assistants within secondary schools across the welcoming Maghull area. This is your chance to play a key role in student's academic journey during their crucial high school years!

Hourly Pay: £13.68 to £14.00 per hour Location: Maghull, Sefton- L31

This is an impactful role focused on facilitating high school learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with subject specialist teachers to ensure lessons are accessible, engaging, and challenging for all students. You will be a crucial link, focusing on building student independence and providing essential support across various subjects and year groups (Years 7-11/13).

Main Duties:
  • Actively assist the class teacher with the smooth delivery of all planned lessons.
  • Target support for small groups or individuals needing help in fundamental skills like reading and numeracy.
  • Prepare resources and learning materials, helping to keep the classroom organised and stimulating.
  • Promote excellent behaviour and social skills through positive interactions and guidance.
  • Supervise children during breaks, lunchtimes, and school transitions to maintain safety.
  • Communicate observations clearly to the teacher about student learning, challenges, and moods.
