Job summary

Loxley Hall School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. You will support the class teacher, deliver engaging learning experiences, and provide targeted interventions to help pupils thrive academically and personally.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be caring, enthusiastic and committed to helping pupils thrive.
• Experience supporting learning for pupils with SEMH needs, EHCPs or behavioural challenges is desirable.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with staff and families.

Loxley Hall School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis.

This rewarding role involves supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging learning experiences, helping pupils to thrive both academically and personally. You will provide whole-class support, work closely with individuals and small groups, and deliver targeted interventions to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.

Our pupils come from across Staffordshire and have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, often alongside associated behavioural challenges.
