SALARY: Grade E pt 11‑17 £28,142 – £31,022 pro rata; Actual Salary at pt 11 £21,500

THE ROLE: We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well‑qualified candidate to work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction of the lead teaching assistant for INA/EAL and/or senior staff to enable the acquisition of the English language and access to learning for all pupils. You will develop and implement language acquisition programmes to meet the needs of groups of INA/EAL pupils, including a synthetic phonics programme.
ABOUT YOU: Your ability to work effectively within a team environment, understand classroom roles and responsibilities, and build effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues. You will demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of INA/EAL pupils.
