A local council in the UK is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in Burry Port. The role involves providing emotional and academic support to secondary aged pupils facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. We are seeking to employ Level 3 Teaching Assistants at CSTLC, educating secondary aged pupils who demonstrate social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The person will provide emotional wellbeing support in addressing the needs of pupils who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant the post will also involve supervising 1:1 pupils where required alongside small groups of pupils to deliver academic support, pastoral support and guiding wellbeing programmes to pupils excluded from, or not otherwise working to, a mainstream school timetable.
