We are seeking to employ Level 3 Teaching Assistants at CSTLC, educating secondary aged pupils who demonstrate social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The person will provide emotional wellbeing support in addressing the needs of pupils who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant the post will also involve supervising 1:1 pupils where required alongside small groups of pupils to deliver academic support, pastoral support and guiding wellbeing programmes to pupils excluded from, or not otherwise working to, a mainstream school timetable.

DBS level:

An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk.

Welsh language level - verbal:

Level 2 - You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
