Job summary

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Leigh is seeking an enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our caring, faith-filled community. You will work with teachers to support pupils in class and through targeted interventions, helping children progress academically, socially and emotionally.

Job description

We are proud of the supportive culture that exists across our school and are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will help us continue to provide the very best opportunities for all children.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to support pupils both in class and through targeted interventions, helping children to make progress academically, socially and emotionally.

Salary: Grade 3, £18,563 per annum. £13.69 per hour

31.15 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Temporary until 31st August 2027
