Location: Sutton & Surrounding Boroughs

Salary: £95 - £110 per day (depending on experience and school)

Start Date: ASAP

Availability: Must be available for same-day call-outs (on-the-day bookings)

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support learning across the curriculum and may also work with small groups or individual pupils, including those with additional needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils' learning under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of learning activities
  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support where needed
  • Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Assist with administrative and organisational tasks as required
  • Maintain good communication with teachers, pupils, and parents
Person Specification
  • A positive, patient, and supportive approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for working with children and helping them succeed
  • Ability to follow instructions and use initiative when needed
  • Experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable)
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)
