Job description

Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistants at Rikama Education Ltd.

Rikama Education Ltd. is currently collaborating with a special school in Tonbridge that is seeking several SEN Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. These roles are available for both Primary and Secondary learners, with the potential for permanent positions for the right candidates after the initial period.

The school boasts excellent facilities on a large site and caters to students aged 4 to 19 with diverse needs, including PMLD, complex needs, mental health conditions, challenging behaviour, and autism spectrum disorder. Some roles may require you to assist with personal care.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
  1. Supporting students across primary and secondary levels with various individual needs, including PMLD, mental health, ASD, and challenging behaviour.
  2. Providing support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  3. Exhibiting excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
