Job summary

A leading education supply agency in Manchester is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support young children in a nursery setting within a primary school. The role offers a competitive salary of £1800-£2000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. Successful candidates will have a Level 2 qualification or above in relevant educational subjects and experience with special educational needs.

The School and Role

A secure and cheerful School Early Years provision, where Ofsted has rated the school Good with a strong Senior leadership in place. Leaders have high expectations for their children in both their pastoral and educational outcomes. The school is three-formed entry, the school is searching for an Early years Practitioner to act as a support for young children in a 40 place nursery within a primary school working within the Early Years department across the hours of 08:30- 3:30pm.

Requirements
  • Level 2 or above educational subject e.g. Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education/T Level or other relevant subject.
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a nursery or educational setting.
  • A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage or the confidence to develop this.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
