Remedy Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join schools across South East London. This role supports teachers in delivering engaging lessons and helps pupils reach their full potential within an inclusive classroom environment.

ASAP start with competitive daily rates of £100-£117. DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one preferred; great for proactive individuals who enjoy working with children and building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Helping pupils develop their academic, social and emotional skills.
• Supporting classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Preparing learning resources and assisting with lesson activities.
• Ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and encouraged throughout the school day.
