About the Teaching Assistant role:

Are you an experienced or aspiring teaching assistant who is eager to make an impact? Due a to a high demand, Academics are currently looking passionate Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across the Wakefield area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where your hard work will be greatly appreciated.

Within your role as a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement in addition to providing encouragement and support to children across key stages 3 and 4. You will also be responsible for providing support to those with behavioural challenges who require extra attention and support.

Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:

• Excellent communication skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong behaviour management
• DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
