Completely Care Recruitment Consultants Ltd in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a friendly school. This temporary, term-time role runs Monday to Friday with no weekends and offers a daily rate up to £100.

You will work in classroom and support personalized learning plans, helping students achieve targets, deliver interventions, and promote safeguarding and wellbeing in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in education, care, or community settings.
• Confidence with Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience supporting autistic students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support across various subjects.
• Assist with classwork, homework, and exam preparation.
• Help set, track, and review individual student targets.
• Deliver tailored interventions to meet student needs.
• Support learning in-class and during off-site activities.
• Act as a key worker for designated pupils.
• Assist with lunch, break, and on-call supervision.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing.
