Teaching Assistants Wanted in Heswall!

Hourly Pay: £13.68 to £14.00 per hour Location: Heswall, Wirral- CH60 (and surrounding Wirral areas)

This is an opportunity to be a daily inspiration! As a Teaching Assistant, you will partner with the class teacher to ensure lessons are accessible, engaging, and productive for every student. You will actively contribute to an atmosphere of mutual respect and excellent learning, playing a direct role in boosting pupil confidence and attainment across the curriculum.

Main Duties
  • Help the main teacher in the delivery of daily lessons, manage classroom activities and transitions.
  • Support small groups of students with foundational skills like reading, writing, and numeracy.
  • Assist in getting the classroom ready, such as preparing materials or creating stimulating displays.
  • Listen to children read and help them practise key skills for confidence building.
  • Support positive behaviour management and encourage good conduct in the classroom.
  • Supervise students during non-class times, such as breaks, lunch, or organised school activities.
  • Clearly communicate any significant observations regarding student well‑being or learning gaps to the class teacher.
