Lift Barton Hill is part of Lift Schools, one of the largest MATs in the country, allowing you access to the best training and CPD courses. We provide a stimulating and structured environment in which every child will be encouraged to reach their full potential.
Due to a maternity leave we are looking for a TA to join our nursery. Our nursery is run by an experienced nursery teacher and a HLTA. We have two nursery classrooms, one for our two and younger three‑year‑olds and the second for our older three and four‑year‑olds. The children thrive by having a mix of adult‑led activities and independent learning opportunities, designed to help them grow and explore at their own pace. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five years. We focus on developing key skills through play, exploration and active learning. If you are passionate about the education of young children and want to work in an exceptional Early Years environment we would love to hear from you.
It will be hugely desirable if you have early years experience but not essential. You will have a L3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and be Paediatric First Aid trained, or have willingness to work towards these qualifications with an understanding of a range of pupils’ learning needs. You will have patience in interactions with a variety of students and situations, with a calm demeanour and empathy to understand the needs and challenges of students and be able to relate to them on a personal level. You will also be somebody who can engage and enthuse students to want to learn.
We will review applications and interview ASAP so please apply or make contact ASAP.
