Zusammenfassung

Quay View School, part of Aspris Children’s Services, is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support across all key stages for children and young people with autism and SEMH needs. A free minibus runs from Plymouth to the school, and safeguarding is a priority with DBS checks paid for.

The role offers ongoing training and a clear pathway for progression within a supportive educational environment. Prior classroom experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with children and young people who have social/emotional difficulties and/or challenging behaviour.
• Ability to adapt support to meet individual needs of students, enabling learning progress.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including basic ICT proficiency.
• Demonstrates high emotional availability and resilience.
• Able to stay calm and composed under pressure.
