Job summary

The Harrowby Church of England Primary School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning under supervision. You will assist pupils individually or in small groups, help with instructions, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include supporting behaviour management, preparing resources, assisting during ICT and educational visits, and promoting pupil well-being.

• Support children's learning through play.
• Assist with break-time supervision including facilitating games and activities.
• Assist with escorting pupils on educational visits.
• Support pupils in using ICT.
• Invigilate exams and tests.
• Assist pupils with eating, dressing and hygiene, as required, whilst encouraging independence.
• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis in line with the requirements of an EHCP.

Job description

Teaching Assistants in this role may also undertake some, or all of the following;
