Job summary

EdStaff is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support learning across the Northwest. The role offers day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements in local schools and flexible schedules to fit commitments.

Ideal candidates are confident in classrooms, adaptable, and passionate about delivering engaging lessons. A Level 2/3 qualification or recent relevant experience is valued, with DBS checks required before placement.

Qualifications

• Hold a level 2 or 3 qualification or recent relevant experience.
• Hold an up-to-date DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a full enhanced DBS check prior to placement.
• Confident in the classroom and able to use your own initiative.
• Flexible and able to adapt to varying settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in EYFS/KS1/KS2 classrooms.
