Job summary
Newton Leys Primary School & Nursery invites applications for a Teaching Assistant 1:1 to support a child with SEN. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 3.15pm, term-time only, within a welcoming school community.
The salary is Grade D, £27,709–£29,071 pro rata (actual £20,166–£21,649). The school offers a well-resourced environment, friendly staff, ongoing professional development, and training for this role. Visits are encouraged, and closing date is 21 October 2027.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting a child with SEN.
- Able to work 1:1 with a child requiring additional support.
Responsibilities
- Support a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis within the classroom.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
