Job summary

Opus Teach are looking for Teaching Assistants to support partnered schools across Suffolk and surrounding areas. Roles available on a temporary, part-time, full-time and ad-hoc basis.

No specific qualifications are required, though experience of working with children in an educational setting is advantageous. You may have roles such as Teaching Assistant, HLTA or Learning Support Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for supporting students in allocated classes, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Help support and be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in pupils/students' work and conduct in lessons.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with learners and other school staff.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of Children and Young People within the school.

Job description

Opus Teach are looking for Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work with our partnered schools on a temporary, part-time, full-time and ad-hoc basis. Are you looking for an opportunity that offers flexibility with a friendly and professional service to ’help make a difference in education and support schools across Suffolk and the surrounding areas’? We have also been seeing a heightened requirement for TA support requests for full term and academic year requests.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Be responsible for supporting students in allocated classes, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.

Experience/Qualifications:

As a Teaching Assistant, you do not require any specific qualifications, however, experience of working with children within an educational setting advantageous. If you have worked in any of the below roles (or similar) working as a Teaching Assistant with Opus Teach is often a great career steps:
