Primary Teaching Assistant – Aylesbury (Part Time, ASAP Start)

Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Contract Type

Part‑time (8:30am – 3:15pm, Monday to Friday)

Start Date

Salary : £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming Primary School in Aylesbury who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a part‑time, long‑term role, supporting pupils across the school to ensure they reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to provide in‑class support, small group intervention, and general classroom assistance.

The Role

  • Helping to create a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (voluntary or paid).
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for helping children thrive and succeed.
  • Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate) are desirable but not essential.
