Hours: 30.83 hours per week. Term time only (38 working weeks). Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:05pm
Salary: Grade D5 to 6 (£25,583 to £25,989 FTE). Actual salary (£17,824.40 to £18,107.27). Based on under 5 years’ continuous service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join our experienced, motivated and caring team at our Federation, which is part of the Hamwic Education Trust (HET).
We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work alongside our teachers, supporting pupils within a year team at our Federation. The role would initially be placed at the Junior School.
The successful candidate would work within a year team, under the direction of the teaching team and year leader. The role would include supporting pupils with their learning, as well as their emotional wellbeing and social development. Our Teaching Assistants support pupils in lessons, to enable them to access learning and develop as independent learners, as well as carrying out duties at play and lunch time, to ensure pupils are well supported at social times of the day. Our teaching assistants are highly valued and make a positive impact on all of our pupils.
