A local education authority in Whitburn is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to support young learners and undertake a range of learning activities. The successful candidate will be working towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification while promoting high standards in a caring school environment. This is a fixed-term position for 18 months with a starting pay of £8.22 per hour.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Teaching Assistant. If you love to support young people and make a difference, this is your chance to take your first steps into the classroom. The successful applicant will work under the guidance of teaching/non‑teaching staff to undertake a range of learning activities with pupils in line with the school’s policies and procedures – working towards acquiring the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
